Meet Dr. Garrett Taylor
Born and raised in Pine Bluff, and a member of the Watson Chapel High School Class of 1999, Dr. Garrett Taylor is honored to serve his hometown community.
For Dr. Taylor, dentistry is a means of assisting others. He practices with ethics and integrity, incorporating state-of-the-art technologies and procedures into diagnostics and treatment, with a focus on personalized care.
As a Christian, Dr. Taylor’s faith directs everything he does: in family, community, and career. He feels humbled to have been given the opportunity to use the gift of dentistry to help others in need, locally and internationally.
His gentle, personalized approach, and attention to detail, allows Dr. Taylor to alleviate pain and infection, improve oral and systemic health, and give each patient a confident smile. He particularly enjoys taking a patient through each step on the journey to establishing optimal dental health, and earning the person’s trust in order to serve throughout their life.
Education and Experience
Dr. Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2007, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Prior to dental school, he completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Arkansas and an Associate of Arts degree from Central Baptist College.
In addition to his private practice in Pine Bluff, Dr. Taylor is a member of the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. He serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, too.
A dedicated life-long learner, Dr. Taylor completes numerous continuing education (CE) courses each year. This education means better treatment options and procedures, ensuring better care for the community.
Dr. Taylor is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Arkansas State Dental Association. These organizations provide CE through meetings, lectures, seminars, and webinars, as well as refereed journals and other periodicals.
Personal Information
Dr. Taylor and his wife, Caron, a dental hygienist at the practice, have a beloved daughter, Addison, along with Doberman Pinschers. The family is very active in their church, Watson Chapel Baptist Church, where Dr. Taylor is an ordained Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
He is also involved in Hope of the Delta Pregnancy Center and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baptist Collegiate Ministry (UAPB BCM). Additionally, Dr. Taylor regularly participates in international mission trips with his family and through their church.
